Before the Covid crisis, I started a PhD on the age of uncertainty. My Aha! moment came when I realized that uncertainty is poorly understood. People struggle with uncertainty. Their struggle is deep. Most people do not know how to process uncertainty. They lack frameworks. That struggle has huge corporate implications, including red tape and anxiety. The future of management, I believe, lies in the question of uncertainty.
